THE OCTAVIA FOUNDATION APPEAL – HEART PROJECT

On Red Nose Day (15th March 2013) the Barnes Montessori Nursery supported the Octavia Appeal’s Heart Day Project. The Octavia Appeal is the paediatric arm of the Friends of the Royal Brompton Hospital. With the generosity of parents the fantastic sum of £401.51 was raised to help the award winning and innovative emergency paediatric resuscitation-training programme to help save children’s lives in London and in hospitals across the country. All the children came dressed in red and made a Tree of Love which will form a display at the hospital as a symbol to those in hospital that they are loved.
