BARNES SPORTS CLUB
Barnes Sports Club, the home of the Barnes Montessori Nursery, was
founded by a group of local residents immediately after the First World
War. It currently has around 500 members and offers hockey, cricket,
tennis and squash.
In the last few years it has introduced colts sections in all four sports to cater for youngsters living in the area.
It is a very sociable club and the premises can be hired by residents for private functions. One of the highlights of the year is the annual fireworks night in November.
